We’ve been thinking a lot about development velocity lately, what to measure, how to measure. What we’ve concluded is that while there are some general themes there isn’t an industry standard on what to measure and how to measure it. We see that as an opportunity to help shape what good can look like. We recently released our own Analytics dashboards for our customers, which includes analytics focused on development velocity. In building that product we thought it might be valuable for everyone to be able to benchmark some of their velocity metrics.
